Comparison uses published monthly list prices for seat-tiered monday.com ↔ Xero integrations, as at August 2026. Under about 15 seats a tiered plan can start cheaper — but it climbs with every person you add. Ours is the ceiling, not the floor.

Questions before you start

What happens after the 14-day trial?

Nothing is charged automatically without you subscribing. If you don't continue, syncing stops and your board data stays exactly where it is.

How does annual billing work?

Pay for the year up front at $792 — the equivalent of $66 a month, so two months free against the monthly price. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time through the monday.com marketplace.

Is it really unlimited seats?

Yes. The subscription covers your whole monday.com account — every user who can see the boards can use the app.

Do I need a particular Xero plan?

Any Xero plan that includes the features you want to sync. The app reads and writes through the standard Xero API.

How many Xero organisations can I connect?

One Xero organisation per monday.com install. If you run multiple entities, talk to us about the right setup.

Will it create invoices I haven't approved?

No. Every invoice is created as a draft in Xero for you to review and approve. Bills sync one way only — the app never writes bills back to Xero.

Does it handle tax and compliance?

Xero does. The app reads your organisation's own tax rates and account codes and uses them. It never files taxes or sends anything to a tax authority.

Where does my data live?

The app runs on monday code — monday.com's own infrastructure. Credentials are encrypted, data is isolated per account, and everything is purged when you uninstall.

Does it use AI?

No. It's a deterministic sync. The same inputs produce the same result every time — which is what you want from anything touching your books.
